Record attendances at UK racetracks


The BBC's Steph McGovern reports from Chester Racecourse on how the UK horse racing industry is enjoying record attendances at the tracks.

Horse racing is officially the second-most watched sport in the UK after football.

The Jockey Club, the largest commercial group in British horse racing, is to increase prize money in a move that will help to offset a decline in funding from the levy paid by the betting industry.
