Middle East writers go it alone and publish online
The process of writing and printing a book has not changed much in centuries.
But, thanks to new technology - the industry is facing its biggest ever shakeup.
Instead of relying on publishers and retailers, more and more authors are going it alone in the Middle East, and publishing their work themselves, online.
So is it the end of the book as we know it?
