India's sugar growers struggle to export

Global sugar production is booming and India's domestic sugar growers are expected to yield a surplus harvest.

However, millers are struggling to export and the industry is blaming tight regulations.

A government panel is expected to meet this month, to consider whether to liberalise the industry.
