The new green cars hoping to charm British drivers
With petrol and diesel prices at record levels, one would expect a surge in demand for cars that use green technology.
But only around 1,000 electric cars were sold in the UK last year, even though the government offered considerable incentives to buyers.
Hopes now rest on two new models that are both promising to be much more driver friendly, and a 'swap shop' scheme.
