Is baking the recession-proof business?


It's been claimed before that TV cookery shows like the BBC's The Great British Bake Off have helped bring about a home baking revival.

And now one cake-maker's in Bristol says even the fanciest of celebration cakes are retaining their popularity, despite a squeeze on household budgets.

The BBC's John Maguire goes behind-the-scenes, to find out if baking really has been surviving the downturn.
