India prepares for latest budget

India's Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee is due to unveil the annual budget on Friday.

With a weakened economy and poor performances in recent state elections, the budget comes at a challenging time for the government.

It has to decide whether to try to push through reforms or play safe with a blander agenda.
