Cotton prices rise after India bans all exports
Asian nations can have big impact on global commodity prices. This week, the cost of cotton has risen on news that India has imposed an immediate ban on all cotton exports.
It is thought the country made the decision to ensure that there are enough supplies of the fibre for the country's textiles producers. The BBC's Rajini Vaidyanathan reports from Mumbai.
