Malaysians oppose Australian rare earth plant
About 3,000 residents have staged a protest against Australian mining company Lynas in Kuantan, on the east coast of Malaysia.
The Australian firm has decided to operate a rare earth refining plant there, but residents in the area are worried about the impact of radiation from the waste created by the refining process.
The BBC's Jennifer Pak reports from Kuantan.
