The French bakery chain Paul International has opened its first branch in Southeast Asia, as it seeks to expand its business beyond its main European markets.
The company, which began life in northern France in the late 19th century, already has Asian outlets in Japan and South Korea.
The BBC's Rico Hizon went to meet Paul International's chief executive Maxime Holder at the company's new Singapore store and asked him first about whether the firm might one day become a listed company.
