Life as an apprentice: what are the benefits?

The former Labour Foreign Secretary David Miliband is warning that youth unemployment will cost the government billions of pounds if it is not tackled now.

Part of a report by the Commission on Youth Unemployment adds that the situation has reached "emergency point".

The coalition hopes apprenticeships will help solve the problem and Radio 5 live Morning Reports caught up with some young apprentices from the missile manufacturing firm MBDA in Bolton to find out about their experiences of learning on the job.
