My Bottom Line: Ken Weir, Honda Motors Europe
Ken Weir is vice-president of Honda Motors Europe. He says businesses in the UK need to develop more real apprenticeships, and invest more in young people.
Ken says not only would apprenticeships help with youth unemployment but apprentices are also less transient than graduates and more likely to stay around and serve both their employer and the local community.
Ken appeared on The Bottom Line which is broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and BBC World Service. Subscribe to the podcast or watch it on the BBC News Channel.
