Lagarde: Europe must prioritise growth

Help

IMF chief Christine Lagarde has again stressed the need for European governments to prioritise growth as talks on the region's debt crisis continue.

Speaking at Davos, Ms Lagarde said she had yet to speak to a leader who "has not mentioned the euro crisis as top priority on his or her agenda."

She said Europe was "clearly under... huge pressure.

"They have done an awful lot already compared to where they were two years ago, but the pressure from the crisis... should keep them going."
