Pakistan's Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and his government ministers are in the midst of tense confrontations with the army and supreme court.

This has raised fears among the international community about Pakistan's stability and the survival of its democracy.

Against this backdrop, Yousuf Raza Gilani gave a wide ranging interview to the BBC's Nik Gowing at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
