Celebrating Christmas in the United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates may be a Muslim country, but at Christmas time, shops, malls and hotels are decked out in Christmas trees, lights, decorations and tinsel.

Some locals even deck their halls with boughs of holly.

So just how important is the business of Christmas for the Arab state?
