US Treasury Secretary, Tim Geithner begins eurozone visit

The US Treasury Secretary, Tim Geithner, is in Europe for what some say is attempt to keep the pressure up on eurozone leaders ahead of a crucial summit on the single currency later this week.

He will first meet the head of the European Central Bank in Frankfurt, before travelling to Berlin to see the German Finance Minister.

Further meetings, in France and Italy, are planned for Wednesday.

Michelle Fluery reports from New York where some fear the impact of Europe's financial upheavals on America.
