Rural return for young Japanese

Fast-growing economies mean many Asian countries are experiencing rapid urbanisation.

Young workers are abandoning fields and flocking to the cities in search of their fortunes.

In Japan the boom and the migration took place decades ago, but for the past 20 years the economy has been in stagnation. As such, some younger people are now abandoning the cities to return to the countryside.

The BBC's Roland Buerk reports from Tokyo.
