Ex-Olympus boss back in Tokyo for board meeting

Help

Olympus's former CEO, Michael Woodford, has arrived back in Tokyo to attend a board meeting this week.

He plans to meet with Japanese authorities investigating the accounting scandal at the camera-maker.

Olympus shares have jumped by 20% on speculation that he may return to lead a clean up of the company which could prevent it being de-listed.

The BBC's Roland Buerk has more from Tokyo.
