European hopes high for Chinese support


The head of the International Monetary Fund, Christine Lagarde is in China Wednesday.

She's there to meet with authorities and reassure Beijing over the state of the European economy.

There are high hopes that the Chinese could come to the aid of the eurozone by contributing to its bailout fund.

The BBC's Rico Hizon asked Mark Williams, chief Asia economist at Capital Economics whether China can help save Europe?
