Vertu looks East for growth

Companies all around the globe are looking to China to drive sales growth over the coming years.

That is especially true of the luxury goods makers who are enjoying strong sales there, at a time when growth in European and US markets is sluggish.

Vertu, the luxury phone arm of Finland's Nokia is counting on growth in Asian markets for its high-end, sometimes diamond-encrusted phones which cost thousands of dollars.

The BBC's Sharanjit Leyl asked the firm's President, Perry Oosting about the appetite for such luxury gadgets in Asia.
