Interview with a Bank of England dove

Help

US economist Adam Posen marked himself out as the leading "dove" on the Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee when he became the first to vote for more quantitative easing in 2010.

He tells the BBC's economics editor, Stephanie Flanders, why he thinks that the UK's long-term economic prospects are good.

He also explains why he thinks the Chancellor is right to do more to funnel loans towards small businesses in the UK.
