The role of social media has grown dramatically in the Middle East - thanks to the Arab Spring.
As a result, businesses in the region are now seeing its potential.
At the Gulf's largest technology conference, digital marketing was on the agenda for the first time.
But as a relatively new marketing tool, are Middle East firms getting it right?
