How best to safeguard dementia patients' finances
For families with a loved one suffering from dementia, managing their financial affairs can be complicated and many are advised to draw up lasting powers of attorney.
But according to the Alzheimer's Society, many banks are failing to implement them properly, causing added distress to sufferers and their families.
