Business confidence falling in UK 'plummeting'
Business confidence among UK firms is falling, according to the accountancy firm BDO.
BDO partner Peter Hemington said that uncertainty over the global economy meant that companies were cautious about investing in their business and hiring staff.
The business trends optimism index from BDO fell to 95.1 in July from 95.6 in June.
