Flying high: Dubai's airport ambitions
Dubai International is already the world's fourth busiest airport in terms of passenger traffic, but has even higher ambitions.
With airline Emirates growing at great pace and other carriers increasingly using Dubai as a hub, the country is hoping to become the busiest in the world.
But its Gulf competitors are also eyeing an increasing share of the business.
