WTO predicts slower trade growth

The World Trade Organization (WTO) launches its world trade report in Geneva, Wednesday.

The WTO has forecast global trade will grow by 6.5% this year. A sharp decline from the record 14.5% growth seen in 2010.

Another cause for concern is the lack of progress on the Doha round of world trade talks.

Professor Patrick Chovanec from Tsinghua University's School of Economics and Management told the BBC's Sharanjit Leyl why he thought that global trade was falling.
