Smartphones are eating into the market dominated by Apple
Apple, the maker of iPhone, iPads and Mac computers is expected to report a 69 per cent jump in its earning figures for the last three months to June.
Competition in the smartphone and tablet markets has increased with Samsung and HTC eating into Apple's market share.
But HTC's share price dived on Friday after losing a US trade ruling that it infringed two Apple patents. The Taiwanese company may now face US import bans.
