How anti-skid stability control systems work at 50mph


From November this year, every time a car manufacturer introduces a new model in the EU it will have to have anti-skid technology called Electronic Stability Control fitted as standard.

From 2014 ESC will have to be included on every new car.

The BBC's transport correspondent Richard Scott had a demonstration of the difference the system can make at an event organised by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.
