Welcome to my new page

Welcome to the new home for my blog entries. The location may have changed, but it is business as usual for my writing, with the added bonus that on this page you can not only read my posts but also see some of my TV and radio reports. Soon my tweets will also be added to the mix.

You can still find all of my old posts here.

Don't forget to update your bookmarks and RSS feed.

srry Paul, nu format is pants and contra to NN high quality Journo / discussion platform. A real shame.

Not enough space to present and share valuable insight nd discussion with you / others ...simple as.

What price to quadruple the NN allocation of contributors to 1200 characters?

Most comments on here are worth 4 of those posted elsewhere any day.

    And here's another problem.

Even though we are capped at 400 characters there is no 'view all comments' option and the poor page design leaves what looks like a whole column of white space so that you can only view up to 8 comments a page.

You might want to restrict your future posts though as responding to 'Fifty Books' and 'Twenty reasons why it's kicking off everywhere' is a bit difficult in this new dogs dinner environment.

Perhaps '5 Books' and 'Two Reasons' would be more appropriate.

The Twitter feed is here http://twitter.com/paulmasonnews He is apparently off to Manilla (nice :)

The issue with the RSS feed is that once you've found it it still is only semi-functional.

Add it to your reader and all you will see is the post title and a summary.

So to read it you have to click out of your reader and open each post separately.

My point is that the old blog had a full RSS feed and comments not capped at 400 characters - this one hasn't.

And there go my 400 characters.

'but it is business as usual for my writing'

If, sadly, a whole new era of 'business' for those writing in response.

Some may consider that an improvement. Quite a few others may not.

Time will tell. Even after the mods, likes, picks & early closings have all added so much value.
