Unemployed lack confidence, says survey
The long term unemployed are suffering from lack of confidence, according to a survey from the recruitment site totaljobs.com.
After being out of work for so long almost a third of job seekers do not expect to find employment within the next year, while two thirds of applicants have tried for 11 or more jobs and have never reached the interview stage.
Mike Fetters, CEO of totalJobs.com, suggested people look for training courses to improve their employability.
