How to sell alcohol in the Middle East


The Middle East does not seem like the obvious place for a thriving alcoholic drinks industry. With the majority of countries in the region being Muslim, companies face the challenge of selling alcohol in markets where consumption is severely restricted and taxes are high.

But Lebanon is one of the most lucrative markets in the region and international drinks companies are tapping into the potential of a growing number of consumers in the country.

It is not just multi-nationals doing well out of Lebanese consumers - it is proving a good business opportunity for local drinks businesses too/
