Brendan Barber of the TUC warns of "grim year" in 2011
General Secretary of the TUC, Brendan Barber, discusses the possibility of co-ordinated union strike action in 2011.
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 live presenter Andy Verity, the union boss argues that the coalition's austerity measures may force widespread industrial action in the New Year.
"It's a real possibility," Barber admits on 5 live Breakfast.
"This coming year's going to be a pretty grim year for many, many people."
