Blackberry looks to strike deal with India over data

The Canadian owner of Blackberry, Research in Motion, has offered an olive branch to the Indian government in the bitter battle over e-mail secrecy.

India is the latest of a string of countries to have imposed or threatened a ban on the use of Blackberry mobiles to send secure corporate data.
