Jacques Rogge: Olympics are an expensive business
Hosting the Olympics is an expensive business, according to the President of the International Olympic Committee Jacques Rogge.
He is in Singapore to oversee the first ever Youth Olympic Games, which have already cost the government nearly $300m to stage - three times the original budget.
He told the BBC's Sharanjit Leyl that the costs were justifiable.
