#BBCtrending: Shoplifting blogs on Tumblr investigated

It's been dubbed the internet's "bling ring" - a community of Tumblr users, most of them teenagers and young women, who share their shoplifting habits with the world. They post pictures of their stolen "hauls", often amounting to thousands of dollars at a time, and encourage one another to keep breaking the law.

Tumblr say: "posts depicting potentially illegal activity may not, in and of themselves, violate our policies". They add that they would cooperate with police, however, if any investigation was launched.

Mukul Devichand of #BBCtrending reports on the disturbing trend of shoplifting blogs on Tumblr.
