JFK anniversary: Dallas 'atoning' for president's death

A ceremony marking the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President John F Kennedy has taken place in Dealey Plaza, Dallas, where the young president was shot.

The BBC's Nick Bryant, reporting from Dallas, said there was a sense that the city was marking the anniversary as a form of atonement.
