New Jersey boardwalk smoulders

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has said the fire that ravaged a beachside boardwalk in the state was 95% contained, but it could take days to extinguish the remaining "hot pockets" still burning.

The fire started near an ice cream shop on Thursday afternoon and spread quickly through buildings in two towns, authorities said.

An estimated 50 businesses were damaged or destroyed in the blaze.

Governor Christie said the cause of the fire was not known.
