'I love my country' says freed US ricin suspect

US authorities have dropped charges against a Mississippi man accused of sending letters poisoned with ricin to President Barack Obama and a senator.

Paul Kevin Curtis was freed on Tuesday after prosecutors revealed the investigation had uncovered new information.

Speaking outside court, he said he respected President Obama and loved his country, describing his experience as ''a nightmare''.
