US school shooting: Emotions 'still very raw' in Newtown

As people in the US state of Connecticut mourn the victims of Friday's school shooting, Senator Richard Blumenthal has vowed that Newtown, where the attack took place, will recover.

Speaking to the BBC, he said emotions were still very raw after a lone gunman, who was named in media reports as Adam Lanza, killed 20 children and six adults at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
