US congresswoman sees 'little value' in UN peace plan
Syrian rebels have rejected the peace plan drawn up by UN Special Envy Kofi Annan.
Congresswoman Jane Harman, former chair of the House Intelligence Committee and president of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars says there is "little value" in pursuing the plan.
Ms Harman says offering a asylum to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad - similar to the plan offered to former Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh - would be her preferred solution to the crisis.
