Arizona plane crash: Six feared dead

Three children and three men are feared dead after a small plane crashed into the Superstition Mountains in the US state of Arizona.

Rescue workers have been scouring the scene east of the city of Phoenix since Wednesday evening's tragedy, but hopes are fading of finding survivors.

One child's body has been recovered and officials say it is unlikely the other five people will be found alive.

Elias Johnson from the Pinal County Sheriff's Department, said: "Our hope is that there would be survivors but it doesn't look promising."
