Circus elephants help tornado-hit US city, Joplin

Members of a circus which was due to perform in the torando-hit city of Joplin, Missouri, ended up helping clear debris because their venue had been levelled.

On Monday, residents observed a moment's silence marking a week since the devastating tornado killed at least 142 people.
