Ivo Daalder, the United States' Permanent Representative to Nato in Brussels, says there is no case at present for Nato to intervene in Syria.

He told HARDtalk's Shaun Ley that the circumstances in Syria were different to that of Libya where three clear criteria were met, enabling Nato intervention.
