Syria conflict: Initial talks 'have not achieved much'

Initial talks between Syria's opposition and government have not achieved much, according to the UN-Arab League Joint Special Representative to Syria.

Speaking in Geneva, Lakhdar Brahimi said discussions had focused on the humanitarian aspect of the conflict.

In particular, the parties discussed the situation in Homs, one of the cities worst affected by the conflict.
