Ban Ki-moon on Syria weapons disposal

The UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon, has been asked if he thinks a ceasefire would be necessary for chemical weapons inspectors to carry out their work in Syria.

The five permanent members of the UN Security Council are meeting to discuss a resolution on making safe Syria's chemical weapons.

At a news conference Mr Ban was asked if he thought that would be possible without a halt in fighting.
