Syria's allies discuss country's fate

Syria remains under pressure from the international community following an alleged chemical attack near Damascus, but President Bashar al-Assad still has several powerful allies.

Russian, Chinese and Iranian leaders are among the dignitaries attending a Shanghai Co-operation Organisation summit in Kyrgyzstan, where the ongoing crisis is once again in the spotlight.
