Egypt crisis: Ashton meets ousted leader Mohammed Morsi
The European Union's foreign policy chief has spoken "in depth" with Egypt's ousted President, Mohammed Morsi.
Catherine Ashton said they were able to discuss the current situation and "the need to move forward" during their two hour conversation, but would not reveal any further details.
"We're talking with a breadth of people... because we want to help facilitate the bringing together of ideas that people here have" she added.
