Syria crisis: US mulls options to arm opposition

The US is considering its options for supplying direct military aid to the Syrian opposition for the first time.

Saudi Arabia has already sent some supplies of arms to opposition forces, but some have been fighting with stolen weapons and homemade bombs.

Some critics warn that arming the rebels could undermine efforts to hold peace talks.

Middle East correspondent Paul Wood reports.
