Free Syrian Army: Civil war 'could last for years'
The commander of the Free Syrian Army has said he is confident that rebels can win the civil war against the Assad regime, but warned that the bloodshed in his country could continue for years.
In a rare interview with the BBC's Chris Morris, Gen Selim Idriss called for the lifting of the EU arms embargo against Syria, saying it was having a much more negative effect on the opposition than on the Assad regime.
The rebel leader is in Brussels to address the European Parliament.
