Syrians turn to forests as fuel shortages bite

Many Syrian civilians desperate to stay warm in the midst of fuel shortages are resorting to cutting down trees from nearby forests and woodlands.

While increased logging is prompting fears of deforestation, residents of Darkush near the northern town of Idlib say they are left with little choice.
