Kurds given taste of freedom in Syria

The conflict between rebel forces and those loyal to President Assad in Syria has resulted in the government loosening its grip on the Kurdish region in the North East of the country.

After decades of repression, the Kurds are now getting a taste of freedom.

Orla Guerin follows one activist on his journey back to his homeland after 17 years in exile.
